Visiting the cash & carry
Can anyone shop at Galvins?
Yes. Our cash and carry serves the trade and the public at the counter. What you need, when you need it. You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol.
Where are you?
37 Bandon Road, Cork T12 C934, at the top of Barrack Street. Get directions.
What are your opening hours?
The cash & carry is open 7 days: Monday to Saturday 9am – 7pm and Sunday 12:30 – 7pm.
What are your Christmas & New Year opening hours?
Over Christmas and New Year: Christmas Eve, usual hours (9am – 7pm). Christmas Day, closed. Saint Stephen’s Day, Sunday hours (12:30 – 7pm). New Year’s Day, usual hours (9am – 7pm). Christmas drinks.
How can I pay?
Cash, card and contactless are accepted at the counter.
Ordering & delivery
Are you a drinks wholesaler in Cork?
Yes. Galvins is a drinks wholesaler and cash & carry in the heart of Cork city centre, at the top of Barrack Street. Family-run drinks wholesalers in Cork since 1968, we supply pubs, bars, hotels, restaurants, clubs, shops and distributors with wine, spirits, beer, cider, soft drinks and kegs.
Can I order ahead?
Yes. We deliver right across Ireland, Monday to Friday: email orders@galvinswines.ie with your order. In Cork, we can also have it ready to collect. Kegs are available in Cork.
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders in by 12 noon are dispatched the same day. When your order is dispatched, we email you to let you know, with a PDF copy of your invoice for your records. Our service promise.
Which kegs do you stock?
Coors, Guinness, Murphy’s, Heineken, Beamish and more. Collect from our cash & carry at 37 Bandon Road, 7 days. See every keg we stock, by brand and size.
Can you check my prices against my current supplier?
Yes. Send us a photo or PDF of your last drinks supplier invoice and we’ll price it line by line. No obligation. Email it to orders@galvinswines.ie.
Galvins Cash & Carry Card
Who is the Cash & Carry Card for?
Businesses that collect at our Cork cash and carry: bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants, cafés, shops, retailers, distributors and more. It gets you our current offers, our full range at wholesale prices, and new product updates. Outside Cork? We deliver right across Ireland. Email orders@galvinswines.ie for wholesale prices.
What does the card get me?
Our current offers, our full range at wholesale prices and new product updates by email, plus Core 30 (our 30 everyday lines, with prices locked in for January to March 2027), VAT invoices in your business name, and you can buy any day, 7 days. Email orders@galvinswines.ie for wholesale prices.
Can I still buy without a card?
Yes. Our cash and carry serves the trade and the public at the counter. What you need, when you need it.
I already buy from Galvins. Do I need to apply?
You don’t have to: keep ordering as normal. If you’d like your card, apply here and tick Yes where we ask if you already buy from Galvins. We’ll match it to your business and email you your card number.
How do I order again?
Email orders@galvinswines.ie with your business name and what you need. If it’s the same as last time, just say so and we’ll check it with you.
