The brewery was originally set up in 2008 as a partnership between two rural pubs (Tigh Úi Cathain/Kanes & Tigh Bhric/Bricks) one mile apart on the Dingle Peninsula in the West Kerry Gaeltacht.It was a three way partnership between Donal O’ Cáthain, Paul O’ Loingsigh and Adrienne Heslin, who had identified a need to satisfy the many passing visitors with what was a truly local beer.
